Thank You! (Seed&Spark Update 1)

Hello Stupendous Supporters,

Firstly, Kelsey & I just want to say thank you so much for contributing to our campaign and joining us in making these two films. Knowing that there are people that believe in us and our work and want to see what we'll do next is so humbling and rewarding. Thank you for that.

2pm marked the start of day 4 of this campaign and we're just shy of 4%. Not too shabby. But since the campaign is 30 days and we need to reach at least 80% of our goal, we're definitely looking to kick it up a notch. Kelsey and I have been sending out tons of emails and press releases the past few days, so hopefully we'll have some cool updates to share in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, I'm working on getting everyone their cat thank you's. My cats Addie & Vic are just as grateful to you all as we at CongestedCat are for your support. And they show it by adorably posing for my camera phone. I know not everyone likes cats as much as I love them, but I figured it'd be a fun way to play on our company name and give people shareable thank you's. Also, in all honesty, I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with taking pictures of my cats and doing this allows me to do something productive with the photos. I hope you're enjoying them. Here are a couple examples:

The one on the right is a play on Hannah Leshaw's short film "Fictional Me, Fictional You." I thought it'd be fun to personalize them as much as I could. I haven't done that for all of them; I'm a fan of Hannah's film and saw an opportunity I couldn't pass up. (Though credit for "Fictional Meow" must go to Ryan Kramer, CongestedCat team member & Script Supervisor for these shorts, who originally said it). So if you'd like for me to know about a film you're working on, I'd be happy to attempt a play on the title for your thank you image. I should be able to get to the ones I haven't done yet by the end of today.

Also, if you gave $50 or more, Kelsey owes you a personalized thank you jingle! She'll be working on those this weekend, so get ready for that Monday morning. If you're unfamiliar with her music, you can hear some of it on her site. She also wrote & performed the theme song for Kelsey, the webseries.

Lastly, I thought you might like to watch some of our work other than Kelsey, if you haven't yet. So here's the link to our Projects page where you can see our other content: http://www.congestedcat.com/projects. You can also watch all of Kelsey, ad free.

Thanks again for your support & time. We'd love it if you could take it a step further and share our campaign with your network. Word of mouth is so important in crowdfunding, and your recommendation could reach people that we may not be able to.
